Amazon Prime Day Live Blog Day 3

Whether you’re late to the party or still haven’t left it (“the party” being Amazon Prime Day, get it?), we’re here to tell you that the deals are still dazzling, the steals remain sensational, the markdowns stubbornly mah-velous. And we’re talking premier brands like Black & Decker, Stanley, Samsung and, yep, Apple. So come on in; the water’s fine (“the water” being the e-commerce activity happening at Amazon.com).

Now, there’s no telling how long each sale will last; we’re already seeing prices change from one day to the next. Our advice? Scoop up the discounts that catch your eye while you can. Now, if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed, that’s understandable, what with the thousands of deals to weed through and all. And here’s the kicker: Not all of them are worth your time!

That’s what our team of shopping editors is here for; we spend all of our waking hours hunting down the real deals, not the ones with inflated original pricing or those products boasting the same “50% off” for the better part of a year. With that in mind, here are the best Prime Day deals for day three we’d recommend adding to your cart ASAP.

If thicker-looking tresses are what you’re after, celebrities like Alyssa Milano (and thousands of Amazon shoppers) rely on this top-rated trio. After publicly sharing her hair-loss story via video on Twitter, Milano finally found the help she needed in a few tress-strengthening bottles. She praises Nioxin products (and Nutrafol supplements, also on sale) for helping “tremendously” with hair loss.

Formulated with nourishing ingredients that can help improve circulation while stimulating hair follicles, this set includes three months’ worth of shampoo, conditioner and a scalp care and hair thickening treatment — all for the best price I’ve seen in months.

Not only am I a fan of Ina Garten’s approachable, homey recipes, I also love checking out her gorgeous kitchen and cookware. Some of her go-tos are admittedly out of my price range — Le Creuset, anyone? — but I was pleasantly surprised to discover this super-affordable skillet, a longtime favorite of mine, is also a staple in her kitchen.

Lodge has been in the cast iron business since 1896, so it knows a thing or two about crafting sturdy pieces designed to withstand practically any cooking environment. This skillet is no exception; it can be used on all cooktops, is oven-safe and can even be placed over a grill or open flame. Lodge pans are so durable, people often pass them down to younger generations. I’ve only had mine for about 10 years, but it works just as well as the day I got it, if not better. Not bad for just 16 bucks!

Another thing I love about this pan? It’s made of iron and oil — no PFOAs or PTFEs, which gives me peace of mind about cooking without “forever chemicals.” No wonder it’s one of 12 pieces of cookware Garten links to on her website.
